Marta Kauffman is looking down memory lane on her beloved show.

Kauffman served as the co-creator of the historic sitcom, “Friends.”

She and David Crane created the show and served as writers.

In an interview, Kauffman addressed the misgendering of one of the characters.

Chandler’s parent, Charles Bing, played by Kathleen Turner, was a trans woman.

However, the show failed to acknowledge that and referred to the character as a him.

“Pronouns were not yet something that I understood. So we didn’t refer to that character as ‘she’”

Kauffman confessed that it was a “mistake” — one she regrets.

However, she is now bent on doing better in her current professional environments.
