Kate and Anthony didn’t get a wedding in “Bridgerton” season 2.

Many fans have been pretty vocal about the lack of a wedding scene.

Director Cherl Dunye directed the last two episodes of the season.

She spoke to Insider about the lack of a wedding scene.

She explained that it wasn’t her call to not have a wedding.

She said they decided that in the writer’s room without her input.

However, they told her that “There was a big wedding before.”

Anthony originally intended to wed her sister Edwina before she backed out.

“Two weddings in a show that were that spectacular, one could not do after the other,” she added.
