On January 22nd, 2008, Heath Ledger was found unresponsive on his bed by his housekeeper.

She tried to revive him while over the phone with emergency services but he was later pronounced dead, shocking the world.

Ledger had just wrapped up “The Dark Knight” and was in the middle of filming more projects like “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”.

He was only 28 and survived by his family, long-time girlfriend Michelle Williams, and their two-year-old daughter.

On his 14th death anniversary, fans and some co-stars took to remembering Ledger for all that he was.

Andrew Garfield called him a “gift to the world” and said talking about him was one way of keeping his memory alive.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who worked with Ledger in “The Brokeback Mountain” remembers how he could never stand a joke about the movie.

Meanwhile fans took to Twitter saying that Ledger was gone but never forgotten.

Some also posted scenes from the Academy Awards where Ledger won, posthumously.
