Actress Evan Rachel Wood has decided to relinquish custody of her son due to alleged threats from Marilyn Manson, whom she previously accused of abuse.

According to legal documents, Wood and her ex-boyfriend, Jamie Bell, agreed that their son will primarily live with his father in Los Angeles.

Wood, who resides in Nashville, Tennessee, will have custody of her son one extended weekend per month, plus certain holidays.

This arrangement represents a significant change for the actress who had been fighting to keep her son out of L.A.

Wood's decision stems from her fear of endangering her son by having him live with her in Los Angeles.

The actress is currently a key witness in a criminal investigation into allegations of abuse by Marilyn Manson.

Wood expressed her fears in court, stating she believes she might be a victim of retaliation by Manson due to her involvement in the case.

She claims investigators directly warned her about the potential risk to her family's safety.

Jamie Bell had earlier filed documents alleging that Wood was keeping their son from him and her fears shouldn't interfere with shared custody.

Despite her concerns, Wood agreed to let her son live in Los Angeles with his father, as signed and filed in the Los Angeles County Courts.
