The Superman character came to the big screens via DC entertainment; courtesy of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The character has been played by many awesome stars, and for the past decade, this duty fell on actor, Henry Cavill.

Henry Cavill kicked off his journey as Superman in the movie titled “Man of Steel,” where he had a clash with members of his clan who’s aim was to invade earth.

Sadly, in the process of defending the earth, he made a new rival, Batman. The latter found the former’s weakness, and he died, only to be resurrected again in “Justice League.”

After “Justice League” came to an end, fans wanted to see more of Cavill, especially in a film like “Shazam,” but according to reports Cavill’s team and the DC directors were unable to reach a consensus on the issue.

This disagreement indirectly birthed the rumors that Cavill was ending his stint with the network, and the fact that he took up another role in Netflix’s “The Witcher,” almost sealed the deal for supporters.

As sad as it might sound to many, Cavill is making waves as the main character in “The Witcher.” In the series, he played the role of a master hunter, and his acting skills made fans fall in love with him more.

As the second season of “The Witcher” is underway, fans cannot wait to see more of Cavill on the big screens, and at this time, they may no longer be worried if he isn’t in a red and blue cape. As long as he’s saving the world, that would suffice.

As fans await his final say on his rumoured broken relationship with DC Universe, they can take solace in the other amazing movies that the actor is and has featured in, in the last few months.

One of Cavill’s recent projects titled “Enola Homes,” is preparing to release a sequel, according to Netflix.
