Emily Ratajkowski may have thrown some not-so-subtle shade Pete Davidson’s way.

The supermodel opened up about dating men who “don’t know how to handle” being with a strong, independent woman.

On Tuesday’s episode of her “High Low” podcast, Ratajkowski stated that she “hates” going out with “men in particular” who “truly think they want” an independent partner.

This statement came one week after news broke that she and Davidson officially parted ways after a brief fling.

“They’re like, ‘You’re special. You’ve done it,” the model explained.

“They slowly get emasculated, and they don’t know what to do with those feelings, and then they resent you, and then they start to tear you down. And then you’re just back to square one.”

Now, Ratajkowski could very well be talking about what it’s like to date as a celebrity in general, or be referring to her failed marriage to Sebastian Beard-McClard.

The timing of the statement is definitely sus, though.

She called the dynamic of dating a man “f**ked up and unfair,” before admitting that she can “understand dating women” instead.
