Florida teen Jack Sweeney runs tracking accounts on Twitter, and one of them tracks Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s jet.

Musk is not very happy about it, considering he does want the “crazy people” to know the whereabouts of his private plane.

Musk’s nervousness is not ill-placed although thankfully, nothing has happened, yet.

Sweeney’s various tracking accounts are 15 in total, two of them also tracing the movements of the planes of Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos.

Last year, Musk reached out to the 19-year-old and asked him if he would take it down, offering the teen $5,000 as compensation.

Sweeney was happy to take it down, but for an extra zero, asking for $50,000 in lieu of college education and maybe, a Tesla 3.

Musk’s last interaction with him happened earlier in January, where he said that he felt it was unfair to pay to shut it down.

Sweeney was more than happy to reduce his offer and ask for an internship instead. But Musk hasn’t replied as of now.

That said; Sweeney now has many social media followers and a decent part-time job with UberJet. Plus he’s thrilled to have had a conversation with Musk, his idol.
