Elon Musk and Twitter reached an agreement to buy Twitter back in April.

However, it didn’t take long for Musk to express hesitation in the deal.

He openly questioned the number of bot and spam accounts on the platform.

He alleged that it was higher than the five percent Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal claimed.

Earlier this summer, he signaled that he wanted to “terminate” the merger agreement.

Twitter fired back with a lawsuit and Musk responded with a countersuit.

A trial date was set later this month in Delaware Chancery Court to have a judge resolve the issue.

However, on Tuesday, Musk signaled that he had a change of heart.

He agreed to buy the company for the original asking price only a few days before he was scheduled to be deposed.
