Elmo just won’t let that oatmeal raisin cookie go!
In 2004, Elmo wanted to eat an oatmeal raisin cookie.
However, Zoe tells him that he can’t have the cookie because it was reserved for her pet rock, Rocco.
“How? How is Rocco going to eat that cookie?” Elmo demands.
“Rocco doesn’t even have a mouth,” he continues. “Rocco is just a rock. Rocco is not alive.”
The clip, which has since gone viral, prompted Elmo to put out a statement.
“Don't worry everybody!” he wrote. “Elmo and Zoe practiced sharing and are still best buds forever!”
However, he added, “Elmo doesn't want to talk about Rocco.”
20 minutes later, Elmo asked, “Has anybody ever seen a rock eat a cookie? Elmo is just curious.”
