Taylor Swift and Aaron Dessner are longtime collaborators.

The two worked together extensively on her sister albums “folklore” and “evermore.”

On Thursday, Ed took to Instagram to thank “Swizzle” for her role in creating his new album.

As it turns out, Taylor tried to connect him with Aaron Dessner in 2021.

However, he was reticent to work with Aaron at the time.

Still, the two hit it off over dinner and Aaron sent him some instrumentals.

Unfortunately, Ed went through a lot of personal issues in the following year.

He said that he started writing to Aaron’s instrumentals and the two started collaborating.

Ed called it “the most incredible process, and an album I'm so bloody proud of.”
