Dwayne Johnson’s grandmother had a crazy life story.

He told his Instagram followers all about it.

His Samoan grandmother, Lia Maivia, was a trailblazer in pro wrestling.

She was one of the first female wrestling promoters and operated her business out of Hawaii.

However, Johnson said she had an “iron fist” and would use “violence when she felt it was necessary.”

He explained that “she was indicted by the FBI on extortion charges.”

She was acquitted, but the FBI then deported her back to Samoa.

Johnson brought her back to 1992 through a legal loophole an bought her a place to stay in Tampa, Florida.

“My grandma passed away in 2008. I miss her a lot,” he concluded.
