Drew Barrymore is backpedaling her comments about the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial.

During Friday’s taping of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the actress was joined by “Black-ish” star, Anthony Anderson.

The two got to talking about Depp and Heard’s ongoing trial.

Barrymore called it a “seven-layer dip of insanity.”

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor is suing his ex-wife for $50 million over a December 2018 op-ed Heard wrote for the Washington Post.

She claims that she is a domestic violence survivor.

Barrymore told Anderson, “It’s, like, one layer of crazy — it’s a seven-layer dip of insanity.”

On Monday, May 2, the talk-show host said, “Hi, it has come to my attention that I have offended people with making light of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.”

She continued, “I just want to deeply apologize and appreciate everyone who spoke out, because this can be a teachable moment for me.”
