Dog the Bounty Hunter is proceeding with caution when it comes to helping find a missing teenager.

When Petito went missing, Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, started his own search party in hopes to find her killer.

According to reports, Dog is being extra cautious about joining the search after he received flak for his involvement in the Petito-Laundrie case.

A rep for Dog told TMZ that he has received a number of tips that include the type of clues he previously used to turn into solid leads.

The outlet reports Dog is staying out of it due to the outrage he garnered during his search for Gabby and hunt for Brian Laundrie.
