The "Star Wars" series "Ahsoka" is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.

The live-action series sees Rosario Dawson reprising her role as Ahsoka Tano, who made her live-action debut in "The Mandalorian".

This new series also brings back many "Rebels" characters in live-action form for the first time, including Sabine Wren and Hera Syndulla.

Lars Mikkelsen returns as Grand Admiral Thrawn, while "Doctor Who" star David Tennant plays the droid Huyang.

The cast, including Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, shared highlights from the show in an interview.

Dawson mentioned undergoing intensive lightsaber training, emphasising Ahsoka's unwavering determination.

Winstead discussed the privilege of playing Hera Syndulla, a character with a rich backstory, and her husband Ewan McGregor's support for her joining the franchise.

Bordizzo, playing Sabine Wren, appreciated having a pre-existing character to build upon but also highlighted the uniqueness of the live-action adaptation.

Bordizzo hints at the character development Sabine Wren will undergo in "Ahsoka", acknowledging her role in the liberation of Lothal and her upcoming journey with Ahsoka.

Fans and the cast alike are eagerly anticipating the premiere of the series on Disney+.
