Disgraced Netflix star Jerry Harris is going to prison for over a decade.

The former Navarro cheerleader who rose to fame on Netflix’s “Cheer” will spend 12 years behind bars in his child pornography case

He was originally facing up to 50 years behind bars, and federal prosecutors recommended Harris spend 15 years locked up.

On Wednesday, July 6, a judge announced the lengthy sentence and a slew of his friends and family members read statements about his character.

The ex-cheerleader pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

Harris was first charged in September 2020 when the FBI raided his Naperville, IL. home.

In 2020 authorities charged him with producing child pornography.

He was denied bail while awaiting trial.

Prosecutors argued the former reality TV star might prey on minors if he was released on bond.
