Washington is one of the few actors who have bagged up to two Oscars, which is a testament to his acting talent.

Washington’s performance in “Malcolm X” showed that he was one of the greatest actors of his generation, but he didn’t win the Oscar for Best Actor for it.

Al Pacino won the award to make up for the award he lost to Art Carney in 1975.

“Malcolm X” director Spike Lee wasn’t happy about the loss and referenced it in his Netflix series “She’s Gotta Have it” years later.

The main character, Nola Darling, claimed that although Washington won the award for best actor years later to make up for the loss, it was already deserved, so he is still an award.

In an interview with Playboy, Washington revealed that he wasn’t as upset with the loss because he already had an Oscar, and he felt like it was Pacino’s time.

He claimed that although he didn’t win, he was just happy to be invited.

Washington acted in “Philadelphia” with Tom Hanks, but only Hanks was nominated for an award.

Washington again said that he didn’t mind because he already had an award, and it was Hanks’ time.
