Demi Lovato is asking everyone to STOP using the term “Alien/s.”

The singer recently spoke to Australian outlet, Pedestrian.TV, and said they find the term to be derogatory.

"I really think that if there was anything out there that would want to do that to us, it would have happened by now. But, I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything," Demi said.

They continued to explain, “That’s why I like to call them ETs! So yeah, that’s a little tidbit. A little information that I learned."

Demi currently has a show streaming on Peacock called “Unidentified with Demi Lovato” where they go around searching for extra-terrestrial life.

The show began streaming on the platform in September and it follows Demi along with their sister and best friend.

The idea for the four-part series came to Demi after an E.T. encounter in Joshua Tree, California.

In the show’s trailer they say, “I had this crazy experience that happened to me in Joshua Tree. It was this bright light. It kind of moved in this weird ways that a plane wouldn’t move.”

The “singer, activist and UFO experiencer’s” goal is to “find out what really happened.”
