Deborah Chow is the showrunner on the upcoming “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series.

She recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss what fans can expect.

She said it’s a “dark period” both for Kenobi and for the galaxy as a whole.

She added, “it's post Order 66. So most of the Jedi have been killed.”

The series takes place ten years after “Revenge of the Sith.”

Chow said that Kenobi believes that Anakin is dead at this time.

She also talked about the introduction of the “Inquisitors.”

She explained that they are Jedi Hunters that first appeared in the animated “Rebels” cartoon.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” debuts on Disney+ on Friday, May 27.
