Moonage Daydream” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

The trailer was recently released.

It started with a voiceover of David Bowie reflecting on life.

“Moonage Daydream” will reportedly span Bowie’s entire 54-year-old career and include footage, recordings, and the like of the artist.

It was written, directed, and produced by Brett Morgan.

Morgen said he spent around two years going through Bowie’s archive to select material relevant to the movie.

He said the late singer showed him that it was okay to be himself.

Bowie’s family was against a biopic in honor of the artist.

Bowie previously refused to license his song to a movie named after his music with a character who was clearly him.
