Dave Grohl had a lot to say about Taylor Hawkins in his 2021 book.
He called Hawkins “a man for whom I would I would take a bullet.”
When they first met, Grohl said that “he was such a spaz.”
However, he wrote that “our bond was immediate and we grew closer with every day.”
He said he wasn’t afraid to say their meeting “was a kind of love at first sight.”
He called them an “unstoppable duo” both on the stage and off.
“We are absolutely meant to be,” he wrote.
He added, “I am grateful that we found each other in this lifetime.”
Grohl called Hawkins his best friend and his brother.
