Dave Chappelle Doesn’t Name Alma Mater Theater After Himself

On Monday, Dave Chappelle returned to his alma mater.

Chappelle said the reason for the name change was due to his Netflix special “The Closer.”

He said that the backlash he received from students “sincerely hurt me.”
