Courtney Clenney has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges from the fatal stabbing of boyfriend Christian “Toby” Obumseli according to E! News.

Clenney was charged with one count of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.

On August 3rd, police officers arrived at Obumseli’s home to find him with a knife wound.

He was immediately transported to the hospital and later died from the injury.

Clenney was arrested in Hawaii and maintained that she acted in self-defense after Obumseli attacked her.

Clenney’s lawyer, Frank Andret Prieto, said that there was plenty of evidence that she was defending herself.

Obumseli’s family has disputed Clenney’s claim, saying she has a history of violence against her late boyfriend.

His brother posted an Instagram statement claiming Obumseli was unarmed when she attacked him.

Clenney has since been extradited back to Florida and was denied bond, so she awaits trial in jail.
