Courteney Cox recently received the script for “Scream 6” and was excited to get to work.

She told fans that production for the movie would be starting in June in Canada.

Cox was sad about the killing off of Arquette’s character Dwight Riley (Dewey) in “Scream 5.”

Fans believed she was personally affected because of her previous marriage to Arquette from 1999 to 2013.

‘Scream 5’ was the first ‘Scream’ movie not to be directed by Wes Craven, as he passed away before the film’s production started.

“Scream 5” was dedicated to Craven at the beginning of the film’s closing credits.

Craven was one of the most prominent directors in the horror movie genre.

He was also known for always adding a bit of humor to his horror films.

The production team was very grateful for the positive reception of “Scream 5” by fans and expressed their excitement for “Scream 6.”
