Todd and Julie Chrisley were to be officially sentenced for their crimes on October 6th.

However, a court has postponed the couple’s sentencing date due to a motion they filed.

In the motion, the couple claimed one of the witnesses instrumental to their conviction lied on the stand.

In June this year, a federal jury found Todd and Julie guilty of all their fraud and tax evasion charges.

Due to their conviction, Todd and Julie face up to 30 years behind bars but have continued to deny their guilt.

Their lawyer blamed a former employee, Matt Braddock, for impersonating Todd and committing the crimes.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Annalise Peters argued that the couple was fraudulent, even without Braddock.

Todd has previously mentioned Braddock as an employee who wronged them in the fraud and tax evasion suit.

Todd and Julie have also spoken about how the lawsuit had affected their family and relationships.
