Rising country musician Luke Bell has been found dead after being missing for over a week.

Matt Kinman, Bell’s friend and fellow country singer confirmed the singer’s death to Saving Country Music.

Bell was initially declared missing on August 20th, and his body was later found nearby.

Kinman later told The Boot that Bell was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

He also said that a recent medicine change might have influenced his disappearance.

Bell got his career break in 2016 and released his eponymous album later that year.

Bell leaves a legacy as one of the few “authentic” country musicians in the industry.

His unique style and sound often caused fans to compare him to the late, iconic Waylon Jennings.

Singer Joshua Hedley and music band Mike and the Moonpies paid tribute to Bell on social media.
