Chris Pine and Harry Styles are totally cool with one another.
Less than 24-hours after a video showing Styles seemingly spitting on his “Don’t Worry Darling” co-star at the Venice Film Festival went viral, Pine’s team is setting the record straight.
The video shared by Barstool Sports is pretty incriminating. It does look like the singer let’s out a little bit of spit, and Pine’s reaction screams “WTF.”
It’s all very insane, bizarre and unexpected.
A rep for Pine told People, the video is creating unnecessary drama.
"This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation,” the statement read.
“Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine.
The statement continued, “There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist."
Harry’s team did not respond to People’s request for comment.
