Chloe Kim is taking the season off to focus on her mental health.

She just won the gold medal at the halfpipe event at the Olympics earlier this year.

The 22-year-old snowboarder is looking to “just reset.”

She described it as a “fun but draining year at the same time.”

She also took a break following her win in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

She enrolled in Princeton University where she studied anthropology.

She said it was nice being around people who weren’t also star athletes.

However, she does plan to compete in the 2026 Games in Italy.

“As of now, the plan is most definitely to go after a third medal,” she said.
