Chelsea Handler, John Leguizamo, Marlon Wayans, and others are on track to guest host the show after Trevor leaves on December 8.

This would be the first time that the show would entertain so many guests within an extended period.

Comedy Central CEO Chris McCarthy revealed that the company would be trying out new things till June.

Chris noted that the organization would not be rushed into making a decision about a permanent host.

It was previously speculated that Trevor would be replaced by Roy Wood Jr., Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic, or Jordan Klepper.

Until a decision is reached Chris and the other execs are focused on celebrating Trevor’s accomplishments on the show.

The political commentator announced his departure from the show in September, to the shock of many.

He admitted that the coronavirus pandemic of 2020 had forced him to reconsider some aspects of his life and make certain changes.
