Former “Cheer” star Jerry Harris is looking toward a new future.

Harris was a beloved cast member of the 2020 hit Netflix show “Cheer.”

The docuseries chronicled the lives of the cheerleaders on the Navarro College Bulldogs Cheer Team in Corsicana, Texas.

Jerry was famous for his “mat talks,” which were meant to inspire and encourage his teammates.

In September 2020, the reality star was arrested on a federal child pornography charge.

Harris still awaits trial and has plead not guilty.

His coach Monica Aldama revealed he sent her a letter in the second season of “Cheer.”

Aldama says on the new season, “His letter was so optimistic. Like there was not one negative thing in this letter. He said that he hopes to one day be a motivational speaker.”

“I want to be supportive,” Almada explained, “Yet I’m so disappointed…I have all these emotions that are just fighting each other.”
