Channing Tatum will forever be remembered for his role as Mike Lane in Magic Mike and its sequel.

Tatum revealed he had doubts about doing the film because he felt his body wasn’t in the right shape for the role.

The ‘Step Up’ actor also said the required prep diet and fitness regimen was an issue for him.

He admitted that the fitness training was intense, took a lot of time, and made him realize his age makes it harder for him to lose weight.

He said he would be interested in doing another Magic Mike film with the team when they’re like 70.

During an interview, Tatum revealed that he never planned to make sequels to the first Magic Mike film.

He also said that he preferred the second film to the first because it was more fun and fit people’s expectations better.

Tatum announced the third film, titled Magic Mike’s Last Dance, on Twitter on November 29th, 2021.

Chairman Toby Emmerich of Warner Bros said they are excited to be back in business with Tatum and his team.
