Carole Baskin is responding to the fatal tiger killing in Florida.

8-year-old Malayan tiger Eko was shot and killed on Wednesday night.

A cleaning service worker stuck his hand inside Eko’s cage to try to pet it.

Police shot the tiger to death to free the man, who was not an employee of the zoo.

She said she was “outraged” when she heard the news about the tiger being shot.

“Once they [tigers] become adults, they will kill you,” Baskin warned.

She said that tigers become mature adults when they are 5-years-old.

She asked for people never to pay to see big cats unless it’s at a sanctuary.

“The blood of Eko tiger is on the hands of those who show off on TV and social media touching big cats,” she said.
