Cardi B may be a “cool mom” now, but at first, she was a “terrified mom.”
The “WAP” rapper recently sat down with Vogue Singapore and dished on motherhood.
Cardi became a mother-of-two in September after welcoming her son, Wave.
But, it was her daughter, Kulture Kiari, who made her a first-time momma.
Cardi was at the start of her highly successful music career when she found out she was pregnant.
“I didn’t have an album out when I found out I was pregnant,” Cardi explained. “Everybody was so nervous for my career and future.”
She reassured her team that everything would be fine, because she was going to hire a nanny.
“I kept telling them, ‘It’s easy. Trust me, I’m going to have a nanny and she’s going to travel up and down with me. It’s not even going to be a hassle,” she said.
“When the baby got here, I couldn’t even think about getting a nanny because I was afraid of anybody being around her besides my family,” she admitted.
