'Jurassic World' franchise star Bryce Dallas Howard took to advocating for women's rights in a novel way, by sharing her accidental pregnancy story on Instagram.

While Howard's story is not an abortion one, she says it's the fact that she had a choice that "empowered her" to make a decision.

After the Jun 24th SCOTUS decision overturning Roe V. Wade, millions of women across America have lost the right to legal, safe abortion.

Bryce Dallas Howard is unhappy with the situations and quotes co-star DeWanda Wise, about how the fight has to go on.

Howard shared a picture of her at 25 on her honeymoon, the day she discovered that the flu-like symptoms she had, were actually her first pregnancy.

She says she was elated and chose to continue with motherhood, visiting an OBGYN as soon as she could.

She makes it very clear that she was happy with her decision because she had the right to choose.

Her choice to keep the baby helped her in the dark months of post-natal depression that followed because she said, “motherhood is not easy.”

She also said, “I am devastated for the people whose freedom has been ripped away.”
