Britney Spears is not too happy to be in the headlines once again.

She deactivated her Instagram on Tuesday night, something she’s done before.

However, this time, worried fans called the cops to do a welfare check on her.

On Thursday afternoon, Britney took to Twitter to call out those “fans.”

“As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls,” she wrote.

Britney added that “things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded.”

She emphasized that police never left her home and “left immediately” after arriving.

“This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news,” she continued.

She asked the public and her fans to “respect [her] privacy moving forward.”
