The Princess of Pop's Lawyer Claims Father Secretly Recorded Her In Her Private Bedroom
Britney Spears’ lawyer is making shocking allegations that her father, Jamie Spears, secretly recorded her inside of her private bedroom as a measure of “security.”
Her legal team claims her dad and other “cohorts” secretly “captured audio recording of Britney’s bedroom, including private communications with her children.”
Obviously, this is being pointed out as part of a push to have Spears’ dad removed from the conservatorship.
The allegations come on the heels of a separate bombshell report that Jamie hired security to secretly record his famous daughter without her permission.
In the filing, attorney Matthew Rosengart says Jamie “engaged in horrifying and unconscionable invasions of his adult daughter’s privacy.”
He cited published reports that claim Jamie "ran an intense surveillance apparatus" and captured communications with Brit's previous lawyer.
“[Unauthorized recordings] represent an unconscionable and disgraceful violation of her privacy rights and a striking example of the deprivation of her civil liberties,” Rosengart said.
