Brian Laundrie’s parents want access to their son’s estate.

Chris and Roberta Laundrie filed a petiton on Wednesday, December 8, to gain access to their late son’s estate.

The petition was filed in Sarasota County, FL.

Laundrie died earlier this year from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Laundrie family attorney, Steven Bertolino, told Fox News Digital that the petition for summary administration would allow Chris and Roberta access his estate since he did not have a will.

A former prosecutor, who had zero involvement in the case, told FND, "The estate will consist of Brian’s assets and liabilities.”

“Any civil wrongful death lawsuit by Gabby’s parents would be filed against Brian’s estate."

Speaking of estates, last month there were news Chris and Roberta were trying to unload their North Port home.

Bertolino debunked the rumors and said the Laundries are not selling their home.
