Brendan Fraser has disclosed that he won't attend the upcoming Golden Globes award ceremony.

The ceremony comes up in January 2023 and is hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Fraser is in the running to land several nominations for his role in the film, "The Whale."

Fraser, who has had a long-running feud with the showrunners of the ceremony, said he would be a "hypocrite" if he honored an invitation to the event.

The actor revealed in 2018 that the then-president of HFPA, Phillip Berk, sexually assaulted him at an event.

HFPA's investigation into the incident reported that Berk's action was intended to be taken as a joke.

Fraser said that the organization did not apologize to him.

Fraser now plans to devote his efforts to push his recent film feature, "The Whale," for an Oscar nod.

He also stated that he currently does not believe in any of the reforms made by the Golden Globes showrunners.
