Body language expert Judy James has been watching the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial.

She spoke to Daily Mail about her observations watching Amber Heard on the stand.

Under questioning, Heard dropped allegations of graphic sexual and physical abuse.

James said that she found Heard’s testimony showed “authenticity.”

James noted that “her gestures began before her words were formed.”

That is “usually a sign of authenticity,” she explained.

She said that Heard’s facial expressions were “complex” and “suggesting mixed emotions.”

“Amber's facial expressions became more animated when she spoke about the abuse,” she noted.

She noted that Heard’s emotions ranged from “shock and bewilderment to disgust and anger.”
