Bill Burr is still showing his support for Gina Carano a year after she was fired.
She used to play Cara Dune in the “Star Wars” Disney+ series “The Mandalorian.”
That all changed when she started posting conservative social media posts.
The post that earned her a pink slip compared being a conservative today with being Jewish in Nazi Germany.
Burr told THR that “it was funny that the liberals proved her point,” noting he, himself, considers himself liberal.
“They just use outrage because they don’t like your politics,” he went on.
He said he couldn’t “chime in” when it was happening because he didn’t want to cause trouble for the show.
He said it’s “f---ing bizarre” that people try to destroy someone’s ability to make a living because of politics.
He said it’s a “small collection of lunatics” that “cause hysteria.”
