Betty White has tragically passed away at the age of 99.
It's been reported that the legendary and groundbreaking icon passed away on the morning of December 31.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Betty passed away at her home on Friday morning.
Her death comes just weeks before she was set to celebrate her 100th birthday.
Betty would’ve turned 100 on January 17th.
Betty was planning big celebration for her birthday called, “Betty White: 100 Years Young-A Birthday Celebration.”
It is a movie celebration which will look at the last 100 years of her life.
“The movie follows Bettyin her day-to-day life, a look at her life on sets, working with her office staff, entertaining at home, acting as an animal advocate and, of course, bringing viewers along to her actual birthday party.”
The movie will also include clips from some of her most memorable roles.
