Betty White Artifacts Make Their Way To NY Comedy Center!

Betty White’s comedic chops continue to be put on display.

While they aren’t being put on display in life-form, they are being put on display physically at the National Comedy Museum.

Wednesday, September 14, marked the 37th anniversary of the debut of “The Golden Girls” on TV.

According to The National Comedy Center, it received rare artifacts, wardrobe and awards from the late-icon’s estate.

These artifacts will become part of the Center’s permanent archives.

The collection consists of pieces from White’s award-winning work on “The Golden Girls,” “Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Hot In Cleveland.”

Per the NCC’s official website, the pieces include a “Rose Nylund sweater, an Elka Ostrovsky tracksuit from ‘HIC’ and a gown work by White at the 1985 Emmy Awards.

It is now on display at the National Comedy Center’s Museum in Jamestown, New York.

White’s donated collection also features scripts with notes scribble on them by the actress and five Emmy statuettes.
