Despite Kanye "Ye" West's demand for the final say on his docuseries, Netflix published it without his input.

The streaming service released "Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy" on Tuesday, February 16.

Director Chike Ozah noted that taking outside input is in line with the goals of the "Creative Control" company.

Ozah noted that Ye and co-director Clarence "Coodie" Simmons had many creative conversations beforehand.

Simmons was disappointed that Ye requested the final say but trusted things would go swimmingly without granting his wish.

On January 21, the "Donda" rapper asked Netflix for the "final edit and approval" of his documentary via Instagram.

Simmons stated that Ye previously said he “100%” trusts him with the final cut.

In the trailer for "Jeen-Yuhs," the "God's Plan" rapper said success is his destiny.

Ye prophesied at the start of his career that people would be amazed at how far he has come.
