Bam Margera has opened up about the recent health crisis that almost cost him his life.

The 43-year-old described the severity of the condition on an episode of Steve-O's Wild Ride! Podcast.

"I basically was pronounced dead on Elvis' birthday, December 8th did not know that I had like gnarly Covid, my body was shutting down," he said.

The former professional skateboarder shared he suffered multiple seizures at the time.

He later came down with a bout of pneumonia as part of the complications.

At some point, he couldn't breathe without a tube, which spurred doctors to put him on life support.

He was released from the hospital last month after being cleared.

The reality star took to Instagram to celebrate his release.

Margera has been open about his struggles with addiction.
