BAFTA Says Will Smith Wouldn’t Have Received Award 

The BAFTA TV Award show is set for May 8.

The British Academy revealed that Will Smith would have been escorted off the premises if he had assaulted a presenter during their show.

Smith slapped Chris Rock after an unappreciated joke about his wife’s hairstyle and told the comedian to stop mentioning his wife’s name.

The Academy Award promised to follow up on Smith’s behavior.

Smith apologized to the Academy, his nominees, and everyone who witnessed the incident.
