There’s an adorable new face over at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.

A 4-week-old female cheetah cub has joined the family.

She will become an ambassador for her species when she gets older.

The cub came from the Wildlife Safari in Oregon.

The mother of the cub was only carrying a single cub.

When that happens, a mother does not make enough milk to feed the baby.

When looking for a place to hand-rear the cub, the Cincinnati Zoo was picked as the best spot.

The zoo is going to continue to raise the cub behind-the-scenes.

However, they’ll share plenty of updates about the new cub on their social media channels!
