Austin Butler revealed that he is getting rid of his Elvis accent.

The actor shared the information during his appearance on "The Graham Norton Show."

Butler joked that he had damaged his vocal cords due to all the singing he did while filming his role as the late rocker.

The actor won the 2023 Golden Globe for Best Actor thanks to his work in the film.

His vocal coach Irene Bartlett defended him in the wake of comments about his Elvis accent after the award ceremony.

She said it was difficult for the actor to lose the accent because he spent a lot of time practicing to play the part.

"I don't think I sound like him still, but I guess I must because I hear it all the time," Butler said regarding the topic.

The actor will return to the big screen in "Dune 2."

He will star alongside former wrestler Dave Bautista.
