Rafael Nadal and his wife, Meria Francisca Perelló, welcomed their first child over the weekend.
The child was born in a private clinic on the island of Mallorca.
"Both the mum and her baby, born in the 37th week of her pregnancy, are doing well," a source said.
Nadal and Perello dated for 14 years before tying the knot in 2019.
Several high-profile celebrities attended the ceremony.
Nadal shared that his career made it difficult for him to start a family.
"I would like to start to do all of this when my sporting life determines it," the tennis player said, referencing childbearing with his partner.
Nadal has not participated in an official tour tournament since the US Open.
It is unknown if the 22-time Grand Slam winner will play more matches this season.
