Robert De Niro and his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, attended the Cannes Film Festival, premiering De Niro’s film “Killers of the Flower Moon.”

At the festival, De Niro criticized former President Donald Trump, drawing parallels with his film’s antagonist.

De Niro labeled Trump as “stupid” and discussed the conflicting nature of his role in the film.

He highlighted the rising awareness of systemic racism, sparked by George Floyd’s tragic death.

The couple, who welcomed their daughter Gia Virginia recently, made a striking appearance at the festival.

The premiere saw various notable personalities, including the movie’s director, Martin Scorsese, and co-stars like Leonardo DiCaprio.

The festival appearance occurred two weeks after De Niro publicly announced his seventh child’s arrival.

De Niro and Chen's relationship began in 2021, three years after De Niro's divorce from his former wife, Grace Hightower.

The couple met on the set of "The Intern" in 2015 but have largely kept their relationship private.

Kim Cattrall, De Niro’s co-star in another film, described the couple’s bond as “sweet.”
