Ashanti has revealed that a producer asked her for shower sex to pay for two tracks he helped her produce.
The singer stated that the producer had told her earlier that it was for free but changed his mind when the tracks were ready.
He gave her two options: paying him $40,000 each for the tracks or indulging his lewd request.
Ashanti described the incident as "wild."
She revealed that she ultimately got the records for free after she called in some help.
"At some point, you have just to speak up. And that's what I did," the singer said at the time, explaining why she opened up about the incident.
She also took to Instagram recently to commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Her sister, Kenashia "Shia" Douglas, was abused by her ex-fiancé.
