Renowned actress Angela Lansbury has sadly passed away.

The star was famously known for her roles in “Murder She Wrote,” “Beauty In The Beast” as Mrs. Potts, the singing teapot, and “Mary Poppins Returns.”

Her family announced the passing of the 96-year-old.

She passed away in her sleep at 1:30 AM on Tuesday, Ocotber 11.

Lansbury was five days shy of her 97th birthday.

She was a highly decorated actress with several awards ranging from BAFTAS, Tonys and Academy Awards.

Fans on social media are mourning the loss of the actress.
